If You Need To Go Lyrics:

Something in the air that morning made me feel alive.

I stayed up late last night, reading forgotten letters

all about your problem parents and not doing well at school.

A snapshot of your life living in crumpled papers.

And if you need to go, if you need to leave,

don’t take my heart cos it’s broken apart and beating a little too slow.

Every time I see you now blood rushes through my veins.

I forget all the words i know and it’s awkward in conversations.

I remember the day you told me that you were moving away,

you said that it would work living in different cities.

And if you need to go, if you need to leave,

don’t take my heart cos it’s broken apart and beating a little too slow.

And if you need to go, if you need to leave,

don’t take my heart cos it’s broken apart and beating a little too slow.

And i know, i know that i could jump on a plane if I wanted to go,

and you’d say please stay, we’ll take a day at a time and do it our way.

And if you need to go, if you need to leave,

don’t take my heart cos it’s broken apart and beating a little too slow.

Oh if you need to go, if you need to leave,

don’t take my heart cos it’s broken apart and beating a little too slow.

Too slow, too slow, oh-oh, too slow.
